We met up with writer and explorer Andrew Collins at The Barge Inn, Honeystreet, near Pewsey.

Andrew shared with us his guide to seeing and interacting with UFOs, mystery lights and plasma intelligences all detailed in his new book LightQuest .

Andrew Collins, author of LightQuest

Author & Explorer, Andrew Collins

The book begins with Andrews experiences in Roswell and previous to this the Marfa Lights which gave rise to investigations to the true nature of UFOs rather than the archetypal idea of nuts and bolts flying saucers.

Many abductees have told of seeing lights just prior to their abduction experience and although many of the abductee stories show similar attributes Andrew feels they are based around what we are expecting to happen and that experiences from say the 1950s descriptions will be of very basic spacecraft interiors whilst now they are more hitech and sophisticated.

The geology of the landscape and fault lines seem to play a major part in where one might see the mystery lights commonly associated with UFO or ET encounters.

Andrew talks about plasma which is, in essence, a see of free electrons and positively charged ions but it may be the basis of life itself not just carbon based life forms but other forms as well. UFOs are buoyant plasmoids that can transform themselves into a structured form. “Space Aliens” almost certainly do exist although the evidence presented by UFO sightings, close encounters and missing time episodes indicates this has nothing to do with flesh and blood aliens coming form outer space.”

In history and particularly during the medieval period there are many documented accounts of mystery lights associated with the faerie realm and peoples experiences and attitudes show similarities to the current day UFO and ET encounters.

Andrew explained if you do some research into place names they may show an indication of faerie or devil phenomena in that area.

He shared with us many peoples accounts of encounters with lights and abductions and these are well documented in the book such as the Allagash Four who shared a distressing encounter on the Allagash Wilderness Waterway State Park . The four saw a brilliant sphere, whilst they were in their canoe, that came almost upon them. They were terrified and although they each recalled a slightly different experience the fear was evident. After their experience the fire they had lit just before they had got onto their canoe was just glowing embers when it should of burned for 2-3 hours or more. This time slip seems to be very common in these cases.

Andrew has carried out interesting research and compiled a very user friendly book that enables the reader to know where the best places to visit are around the world to have their own experience – their own LightQuest. He has also included a creative visualisation to use to assist in your own quest .

Andrew talked briefly about his new book in preparation about the origin and location of The Garden of Eden and on his exploration of the mysterious 12,000-Year-Old Gobekli Tepe site in Turkey. Andrew promised some exciting new revelations when the book is published.
